Description

I suspect the root cause might be related to Bug 501251 - and it's a real hindrance for using the forums. I've been seeing this. I'll have to trace the SQL queries to see what's taking so long. *** Bug 501251 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** At least in the case of approving moderated messages, I've discovered that the action of approval actually finishes quickly, it's the refreshing of the moderation page that takes the time. I can actually click "Approve" multiple times on the moderation page without waiting for it to reload and they all succeed; force reload of the page comes back quickly with the approved messages gone. So it seems that the issue may not be a SQL bottleneck; or maybe it is :-/. Hopefully this helps to narrow it down. *** Bug 508699 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** any update on this issue ? Hi Webmaster/Denis, this still appears to be affecting all the forums. Is there anything we can do to help on this? This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie. It's been working OK for a while, I think. thanks, it improved since I raised this bug |
