Description Mickael Istria CLA 2016-11-28 09:53:14 EST
I triend to create a comment containing Unicode emojis (which are actually pretty useful when discussing UI stuff), and it seems like bugzilla cuts the message after the first emoji.
Can we have bugzilla better handling Emojo? Ideally rendering them, but at least not curring message.

For example, this comment:
1. blah
2. <will be a unicode lock>
3. blah
--- renders as
1. blah
2.

As a non-Bugzilla expert, I don't really know whether this patch is necessary for our bugzilla instance or if just changing the DB encoding for comments would work.

Seems like it works now!
However, emojis in old comments are not converted. But it's not really important now.

Cool, not sure how it was fixed.
