I mean just keep the titles in green: governance, IP management, ... They are links to the sections and there is a good description when you click on the link. Does it make sense? Te be clear, I consider that the features are part of the header. I wonder if we need the graphical part or if we can just keep the features as header. @Paul, WDYT? The block in dark blue entitled "Eclipse Working Groups" does not add much more than the features. I agree the entire graphical element should be made smaller. Personally, I don't mind the balloon and matching text box beside it now that it's smaller, but the 5 icons below should be made significantly smaller. We have the "Join a Working Group" call to action both in the graphical area beside the balloon and immediately below the features list. I would suggest we move the 2nd balloon to the end of the list of working groups (i.e., to the bottom). I've posted an update to staging. I reduced the upper globe graphic by ~25px without effecting the size items in the graphic area. I reduced the icon features bar by almost half and reworked the column layout so that it will remain in the thinner block strip on iPad sized screens. The call out button in the top header would get truncated on smaller screens, that's now fixed. 2nd button to join working group page moved to bottom of Working Group list. Meeting minutes from review : Action items for me - hide icons in feature bar when mobile size leaving just the links - merge join working group button (header space) into info box as link. If it doesn't work in the space, colour button orange to make it more obvious that it's clickable. - Leave button as is on bottom of list but update colour to match site theme. Setting this bug as "won't fix" as I did not get the go-ahead to deploy the changes from all stake-holders. Please re-open the bug if I am to proceed with these changes |
