I'd like to request an upgrade of the Sphinx HIPP instance [1] to SLES12 to avoid build failures due to GTK/GLIBC compatibility problems when building Sphinx against Oxygen.

The Sphinx HIPP has been upgraded to SLES12.

Please note: if you run any UI tests, you will need to change the used window manager from "metacity" to "icewm".
