I've probably opened Electron over twenty times today and the constant need to maximize the window across every restart was truly unbearable.

Thanks for the patch. It looks good. We are not doing are dev in github yet (it is just a mirror). We want to move there in the near future. In the mean time, please could you submit a gerrit patch instead (https://git.eclipse.org/r).
