We would like to see the images in Gerrit, if someone changes them.

This has already been enabled, see bug 428164 comment 8.

If this still does not work for you, please provide a link to an example.

Review from Bug 428164 is a good example.

Look very closely in the highlighted green bar. That's were the little printer icon is shown. :)
