Code to be used for debugging to reproduce the error

the monitors of deadlocked thread are not shown if "show monitors" option is put on.

Steps to reproduce:

Use the attached code.
put a breakpoint at syso ("hello world");
debug
in debug view -> drop down -> Java -> show monitors.

Expected output is similar to what is shown at http://help.eclipse.org/neon/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.jdt.doc.user%2Ftips%2Fjdt_tips.html&cp=1_5_6&anchor=debugging_section, sub-section on "Threads and Monitors".

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.
