Tonight, I'm experiencing way slower than usual connections to gerrit. Connecting from EGerrit, I'm getting in situations where I'm getting time out exceptions.

Egit / JGit similarly times out.

I also experience slow Gerrit since Saturday, increasing timeout in EGit to 60sec helped to workaround (Preferences > Team > Git > Remote Connection Timeout)

This was caused by bug 501247
