Description Alexander Nyßen CLA 2016-07-27 03:03:02 EDT
As the project repos are now hosted at Github and we are migrating our documentation from the eclipse wiki to the github project wiki, we should consider to create a CHANGELOG.md file from our new and noteworthy documents, so these information is directly accessible from the repo.
Comment 1 Alexander Nyßen CLA 2016-07-27 03:06:00 EDT
In addition we could have formatted git tag comments that refer to the respective changelog entries, if this is supported.
Comment 2 Alexander Nyßen CLA 2017-05-14 05:16:46 EDT
I have created a GEF changelog and migrated all information from the New and Noteworthy wiki pages.

What remains is creation of a similar document for GEF-Legacy.
Comment 3 Matthias Wienand CLA 2017-06-09 09:36:57 EDT
I created a CHANGELOG.md for GEF-Legacy and transferred the contents from the "New & Noteworthy" pages of the Eclipse Wiki (and designated web pages for 3.5.0 and 3.0.0) to the CHANGELOG. In alignment with the GEF CHANGELOG.md, only GEF-Legacy related changes are listed in GEF-Legacy's CHANGELOG.md. The changes w.r.t. GEF4 are already listed in GEF's CHANGELOG.md.

The code is published on the master branch. Therefore, I resolve this ticket as fixed for 5.0.0 RC4.
