I believe this is not an issue in SWT but in Platform.UI org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench.renderers.swt.CTabRendering .
In e4_basestyle.css if you replace swt-tab-renderer: url('bundleclass://org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench.renderers.swt/org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench.renderers.swt.CTabRendering');
with
swt-tab-renderer: url('bundleclass://org.eclipse.swt/org.eclipse.swt.custom.CTabFolderRenderer');
you will no longer see that although it might be hidden by toolbar having color in different color in the SWT renderer.
More investigation is needed for this one.
Thanks Alex for tha analysis. Shall we move the bug to Platform UI? It would help to have a look from someone a bit more familiar with Platform UI renderer. But for now I can't say for sure whether the bug is in SWT ans is just made visible by different way platform renderer does things or a but in the platform renderer itself. I ran into this bug awhile ago, and after discussions with Sopot we concluded that it was due to a change in the Platform UI CSS. I filed a bug in Platform UI for this: bug 483493. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 483493 *** |
