On the https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/index-developer.php and https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/eclipse-packages/ pages the "Eclipse Mars.2 (4.5.2) Release for" / "Eclipse Neon (4.6) RC3a Packages for" drop-down with Windows/Linux/Mac OSX does not update the links or have any apparent effect.

I tried on Chrome on Windows, Edge on Windows and Firefox on Linux, same behaviour.

The effect of this issue is that it makes it hard to find links to send/download when my browser is not on the same platform as where I plan to run Eclipse.

It looks like that some javascript code was removed with the re-design of the new download page.

I will create a patch to put this code back on the packages download page.
