Description Michael Rudolf CLA 2016-05-10 08:46:16 EDT
After changing my email address I cannot sign in anymore.
Getting the "Cannot assign user name <...> to account <...>; name already in use.
Comment 1 Denis Roy CLA 2016-05-10 09:43:15 EDT
I've flushed the caches... Let me know is that works.

Matt, if it does, I think I'll hack a flush-caches into LCC.
Comment 2 Michael Rudolf CLA 2016-05-10 09:44:42 EDT
Didn't help, still getting the same error
Comment 3 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2016-05-10 10:51:47 EDT
I think the issue here is that you had a Gerrit account with a completely different email address which wasn't found when the update tool ran, so it did nothing, then when you tried to login the account creation process threw the 'already in use error' as the external id token was in fact used.

I've manually synced things and flushed the caches so you should be all set.

No luck yet, still getting the same error message.

Is this still a problem?

Yes, I'm still not able to log in, same error message:
Cannot assign user name <...> to account <...> name already in use.

Hmmm, well I've force updated more of your record to try and bring things into line.

Thanks, it seems to work now
