In a "fairly recent" Neon Milestone, see attach TXT for full details (the About says M6 but I think it actually got auto-updated to M7 because e.g. org.eclipse.swt.gtk.linux.x86_64 is 3.105.0.v20160427-1439; I suspect Oomph-based https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_Oomph_FAQ#How_can_I_make_Oomph_install_the_latest_Eclipse_platform_milestone.3F upgrade probably lifts up the bundles, but doesn't change the About?), on a GTK3 on Ubuntu 16.04 with GNOME Shell and Adwaita theme, I'm seeing icons missing e.g. in EGit Fetch From UI, see attached screenshot (there should be e.g. a red cross kind of thing in that Remove column; there hover over tooltip thing is actually there on mouse over, but there is no icon visible).

I can reproduce this on Fedora 23, Ubuntu 15.10 and Ubuntu 16.04.

yeah, just re-checked it and sorry to report still seeing this at least on (the icons missing), meanwhile I'm on Fedora 26 and with Eclipse Version: Photon Milestone 4 (4.8.0M4) Build id: 20171214-1849.  (FYI I'm running with 2 displays; one which is HiDPI; but I doubt that has anything to do with it?)

I can reproduce this on CentOS 7.4 (Gnome/Adwaita), gtk 3.22.10, with EGit nightly (4.10.0). (VM, one single display, no HiDPI.)

The "Remove" column should actually show a trash can icon. The icon displays fine on MacOS.

The "Force Update" column should show a checkbox. That one also is not visible, but its tooltip is present (and is shown on mouse hover over where the checkbox should be).

The original report was with EGit 4.3.0 installed and gave this EGit dialog as an example. Where else are icons missing? Only in EGit dialogs, and only this trash can, or also elsewhere?
