Description Grant Gayed CLA 2016-04-27 16:52:50 EDT
- Ctrl+Shift+H to open global search
- search for something that will find some matches
- in the resulting list click on a tree's twistie to reveal its children
-> this opens the twistie's file in the editor

I think this is a new behaviour, which I find makes me lose my context all the time. The ability to expand a file's twistie to see the list of its matches without opening the file is something I do all the time. There isn't a way to expand a twistie in a new tab (nor would I expect there to be), so there isn't a workaround that can be used to preserve the editor context. The new behaviour is also strange if Auto Save is turned off and a search result's twistie is expanded while the opened editor is dirty.

This is probably a side effect of the fix for Bug 489439.
