Description
Benjamin Cabé
What is the repo URI, and what is the error? https://github.com/eclipse/kura and Henryk gets a "403: Permission Denied" when trying to push. He certainly does not appear in the list of committers on the repo in the GH Kura "team" Thanks! Benjamin Henryk must associate his GitHub id to his Eclipse account to be invited to the GH team: https://dev.eclipse.org/site_login/ Currently, we do not know his GH ID. Once that association is made, an invitation is sent. We cannot add anyone to a team, we can only invite them, and many times the invitation goes unnoticed. Ok that makes sense. I guess what made me thought it could be a problem on our end was that Henryk has proper commit rights on the GH repo for Hono (see https://github.com/orgs/eclipse/teams/eclipse-hono), so I didn't think the problem could be with Eclipse ID<-->GH ID association. That is interesting... Let me check. Definitely odd.. but the sync log says it all: [Info] cannot add h**k@gmail.com to team: eclipse-kura - no Github Login attached to eclipse account! FWIW, there are four committers on Kura who have not accepted the invitation: elbert3 wes-johnson hndave willfrazer Hi guys, I have just added my GitHub username to my Eclipse account. Many thanks for the pro tip! I will check tomorrow if I can push now. BTW This is really strange as I'm committer to Eclipse Hono and I can push there :) . Cheers! (In reply to Denis Roy from comment #7) > FWIW, there are four committers on Kura who have not accepted the invitation: > > > elbert3 > wes-johnson > hndave > willfrazer Yup, thanks! Most of them have recently been decommitterized, actually, for it's obviously been a while since they contributed. Benjamin – I see Henryk on the team now. Closing. Awesome, thanks! |
