Description Arun Thondapu CLA 2016-04-12 11:49:28 EDT
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #429335 +++

This bug is to provide 64-bit launcher binaries of Eclipse for Solaris SPARC.
Comment 1 Arun Thondapu CLA 2016-04-26 05:16:11 EDT
The SPARC machine we were planning to use has been down since last week and I'm still waiting for it to be brought back up, even if that happens today, it might be too late for M7, so moving this to RC1 (all the work on the fragments and build scripts is done, only the binaries need to be rebuilt).
Comment 2 Sravan Kumar Lakkimsetti CLA 2016-05-17 07:29:09 EDT
This is required for SparcV9 support. I approve
Comment 3 Thomas Watson CLA 2016-05-17 09:16:59 EDT
I approve.
Comment 4 David Williams CLA 2016-05-17 11:48:32 EDT
What is being approved?

Do you mean you are ready to add launcher to build?

Once it is added to "executable feature" is when I need to add it to platform runtime target (and probably a few other tweaks).

From the comments, I assume it's OSGi architecture value is sparcv9?

So the triplet to add would be as follows?

              <os>solaris</os>
              <ws>gtk</ws>
              <arch>sparcv9</arch>
