As the title implies, it seems editing a Table/Tree cell on GTK3.20 is garbled. Snippet attached reproduces the issue.

You can see the issue more clearly if you don't delete the old text after selecting it.

If you just select it and start writing a new text it will just write the new text over the old text.

This has been fixed with one of the fixes for bug 491327.

Verified fixed in N20160423-1500.
