The newly introduced DS annotations support in Neon needs some polish to create a good user experience.

As suggested on the platform-ui mailing list, this is the root ticket for the single suggested topics for improvement.

All nice to have functionality, but nothing critical IMHO. I remove the M7 as it is unlikely to have all of the dependent bugs fixed for M7.

Only Bug 490063 open in this aggregator bug, no need to keep one aggregator bug for one remaining bug.
