Menu mnemonics are ignored in GTK.

STEPS
1) Select F10 to bring down the file menu
2) Select I to get Import - nothing happens.
3) Select Alt-I. Nothing happens.

Compare this with native behaviour in GTK.  Alt+I once a menu is open will do
nothing.

However, "I" should work -- even if the menu is triggered by "F10".  Notice that
opening the menu with "Alt+F" allows "I" to work.  Opening the menu with "F10"
or the mouse does not allow "I" to work.

Tod: this is a duplicate of a bug you filed yourself!  ;)  But, they haven't
fixed  it in over a year....
