create a 'hello world' C project. build and debug. open expressions view and add an expression. minimize the view, then open it back from the sidebar and click the restore button. all expressions disappear from the view (including 'add new expression') and can only be seen again after the view switched to any other view and then back to expressions.

It's a Platform issue, happens without installed CDT.

Can you help us reproduce the problem without CDT ?
I am trying on JDT but not able to reproduce it.

First time I reproduced it easily with Eclipse 4.4.2 and Eclipse 4.6 M4. I didn't even need to add an expression to the view. The view was completely empty after restoring it (no "Add Expression").
Since then I have been unsuccessfully trying to reproduce the problem. I'll keep looking and if I find a consistent way of reproducing it I'll let you know.
