Description
Wayne Beaton
We have some time to prepare for the requested April 6 release date. I have a review planned on that date. I need IP Team approval of the IP Log. I need PMC approval of the release and corresponding review documentation. Please plan to provide both of these two weeks ahead of the planned review/release date. I've forwarded the IP Log to the IP Team for their review. PMC Approval: https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/iot-pmc/msg01151.html The IP Team has approved the IP Log. The IoT PMC also did vote. [1] [1] https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/iot-pmc/msg01150.html Are we ready to go from your perspective? (In reply to Jens Reimann from comment #5) > Are we ready to go from your perspective? Yes. I have everything that I need. I declare this review successful! Please continue with your release! With this rebranding complete as part of this release, do we need to change the project's id as well? It is currently iot.eclipsescada; normally, I'd expect to change this to iot.neoscada. The impact of this pretty small; you'll only really notice it in IPZilla the next time you try to create a CQ. It'll also appear in the URL in the PMI, but we'll set up a redirect to make sure that the old id puts the browser in the right place. The biggest impact will be the project website. Do we need to change eclipse.org/eclipsescada to eclipse.org/neoscada? Sorry for the late reply. Sure, let's do the renaming. As long as links to "http://eclipse.org/eclipsescada" will get redirected. You could also move the Web GIT repository to gerrit while you are at it. The only issues I see are the GIT repositories [1]. I do think we need some major restructuring there. But changing the description would be no issue. We'll need to coordinate the timing of this. |
