Description Dani Megert CLA 2016-01-27 09:03:16 EST
Open unknown files with 'System editor' does not reflect the actual behavior.

For files which do not have a system editor, we open the Text Editor. One can also see this in the code where new SystemEditorOrTextEditorStrategy() is used.

We should simply rename the option to reflect that.
==> System Editor; if none: Text Editor

See also bug 486648.

I've merged that with http://git.eclipse.org/c/platform/eclipse.platform.ui.git/commit/?id=0b0e896686eb8ea47975adec07ec042b6a717353

I'd be happy to get a better name for the option.
