The OMR project wishes to release under the ALv2. This requires board approval.

Jerome (or your designate), we need you to prepare a short slide deck that Mike can present to the board of directors to motivate the requirement and get their approval.

See Bug 475423 for an example of what we're looking for.

I assume you mean "Edje", not "OMR"?

Totally understandable given that you were pushing multiple proposals at once.

The use of the Apache License v2.0 was approved by the Eclipse Board of Directors in their meeting today.
