Some time ago I pushed a Gerrit change as https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/61464/ Today I wanted to push an update to it so in order to prepare the update I wanted to rebase the change and then fetch it to my local repo. What I did is I clicked the "Rebase" button in Gerrit and then the new patch set was changed like this:

Author     Szymon Ptaszkiewicz <szymon.ptaszkiewicz@...>
Committer  Szymon Ptaszkiewicz <andrea.ross@...>

I am surprised to see it is submitted with Andrea's email address. Please see patch set 2 in the above Gerrit change how it looks like exactly.

I've been through the DB and I'm not seeing any connection to these changes and Andreas account.  I suspect this is related to a hiccup in Gerrit a couple of weeks ago that saw Andreas email replacing about 1/3 of the account emails.  However that only lasted for about 10 minutes before it was corrected and the caches have been flushed a few times since, which leaves me a loss to explain what's happening.  

Gerrit has been restarted in case the running instance was holding on to something that wasn't being flushed.

For what it's worth, I am still getting a fairly large amount of gerrit notifications such as the one talked about in this bug. 1091 since the 21st to be precise. They appear to be unrelated to my subscriptions in gerrit as well.. I removed all of them to test & the notifications kept coming.

Andrea confirms she has seen any messages since Jan 4th, so I'm going to close this as fixed.
