Description David M. Karr CLA 2015-09-30 17:21:56 EDT
Version: Mars Release (4.5.0)
Build id: 20150621-1200

I have Eclipse Luna on a Win7 laptop, and Mars on a Linux laptop. Otherwise, the Eclipse configurations are very similar (I imported the full settings from the former to the latter).

On both boxes, I am set to a particular task, and I have the "Focus on Active Task" toggle pushed in, and specifically in the Package Explorer. I can see several projects that I've looked at recently.

On the Win7 box, if I do Alt-click in the Package Explorer, it temporarily shows all projects until I click on something.

However, on the Linux box, when I do Alt+click, it seems like it treats it like a plain click on whatever row the mouse cursor was on. The only way I can see projects outside of the current context is to turn off the "Focus on Active Task" toggle.

I have existing key bindings using Alt, and those appear to work.

This doesn't work on Linux, but you can click on the [+] icon that appears when you hover on an element to show it's filtered children: https://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn/User_Guide#Alt.2BClick_Navigation_.2F_Show_Filtered_Children
