Some how :) I got to this "starting" page if IPZilla:

https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/

And it contains a link that says

Install the Quick Search plugin (requires Firefox 2 or Internet Explorer 7)

where "Install the Quick Search plugin" is a link (of sorts):

javascript:window.external.AddSearchProvider('http://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/search_plugin.cgi')

But if I click on it, I get a message that says (in an external 'popup' javascript window! :)

Firefox could not download the search plugin from:
http://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/search_plugin.cgi

So, I suspect it no longer exists? (Which, I am partially guessing, since I am not on Firefix 40! so for anyone to say "Firefix 2") sounds like a very old link.)

Hi David:

Thanks for pointing this out.

We have investigated and the "search" functionality does indeed appear to work today!

We aren't entirely happy with the results of the search but ...

Thanks,
Sharon
