Description Peter Evers CLA 2015-09-15 09:56:37 EDT
Dragging a file into the eclipse workspace, checking copy and ok will result in the following error:

'The resource does not exist on the file system.'

I'm 100% sure the file is there. If I manually copy the file to the workspace and hit reload it works.

Platform ElementaryOS Freya.
Comment 2 Brian de Alwis CLA 2015-09-15 15:58:34 EDT
Looks like the file name being provided has an embedded newline?
Comment 3 Brian de Alwis CLA 2015-09-15 16:21:14 EDT
Moving to SWT as it seems a DND issue.

From the dialog it seems to be the case that a newline is added to the filename. But I have tested this with all kinds of files and not one succeeds to be added to the project.

Is this reproducible in 4.8? A lot of the DnD machinery has been re-written since 4.4.2.

Closing this ticket now. Please re-open this ticket if the issue is reproducible on 4.8 with GTK3.22.
