I was doing a test of "installing everything" ... primarily so I could follow that with a test of "updating from maintenance". But, ran into a different problem.

I started with Mars released SDK, installed everything from Mars repo (except RT runtime, and being on Linus, some features were not allowed).

After that, could no longer install/update from "Mars" ... message said "no repository found" ... and, that seemed to be caused by "no repository found" at

http://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/packages/mars/

This sounds just like the "Oomph problem" that was found right around the release time period ... but, I thought that had been fixed? Did I accidentally "pick it up" by installing Oomph, along with everything else?

If so, seems we should avoid that, somehow?

Or, is this some other problem?

Never mind. I tried to re-create ... making sure ~/.eclipse was clean before hand, and could not reproduce. I suspect I had that sitting there a while, before my test ... I probably have an old version as one of my test dev. environments, or something.
