Description Curtis Windatt CLA 2015-07-21 10:47:38 EDT
In Eclipse JDT the icons in content assist and the outline used decorators (smaller icons layered on top of the basic icons) to add more information. We can do something similar for the content assist icons using a second span.

Implementation

Until we have a demonstrated need for decorators, I don't want to add new API for it.

See also bug 473205.
If/when we release these, we should support html (tags, attributes, attribute values) & css (properties, property values) content assist as well.
Comment 3 Michael Rennie CLA 2016-09-06 14:15:14 EDT
I think we should consider this for 13.0 - it makes the content assist much easier to use / understand.

We should also investigate using an icon font so the decorators scale properly.
