GEF / GEF4 Contributor guide should be updated. 

Here the list of suggested improvements: 
1. Explain that Java 8 is needed to develop with GEF4 - see [1]

Thanks for pointing that out. I have enhanced the 'Download IDE' section into a 'Download and Start IDE' one, pointing out that Java8 is needed. Please take a look if that meets your expectations.

I have also restructure the Contributor Guide a bit (moved coding conventions to the bottom), ensured that all steps that are needed to setup up an environment (including checkout of code) are comprised in one section.
