Description Marc-André Laperle CLA 2015-07-08 14:17:32 EDT
We have noticed that our Hudson build is not posting the results on Gerrit anymore.
https://hudson.eclipse.org/tracecompass/job/tracecompass-gerrit

So we tried to restart our HIPP but it didn't help. Also, when going to Manage Hudson > Gerrit Trigger and testing the connection, we get: Connection error : com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Auth fail
Comment 1 Michal Niewrzal CLA 2015-07-08 15:38:28 EDT
The same situation for PDT (https://hudson.eclipse.org/pdt/).

We also tried HIPP restart but without success.

I heard EGerrit had the same issue

This is really related to the gerrit server and not HIPP servers. I am working on it.

After talking to Mikael about this and taking a look at the docs I've set the 'idletimeout' to 2 minutes rather than the default 'no timeout', and restarted Gerrit.

At this time I'm no longer seeing the 'too many connections' when I try via the command line. Once I've got some confirmation that hudson is voting again I'll close this bug.
Comment 8 Martin Schreiber CLA 2015-07-09 09:48:49 EDT
Works for the Tycho build! Thanks!
Comment 9 Markus Knauer CLA 2015-07-09 10:09:54 EDT
Another confirmation:
It works for us, too (RAP instance, bug 472245). Thanks!
Comment 10 Dawid Pakula CLA 2015-07-09 10:19:44 EDT
On PDT instance too. Thanks!

Ok that sounds like progress. Please feel free to re-open if the issue returns or hasn't been fully resolved.
