The sample modeler available at [1] corresponds to the expected result after having followed the quick "4 minutes tutorial" [2], but this gives only a very reduced sample of Sirius features. We must keep a version which matches the expected result of the tutorial so that people who follow it have a well-know reference to compare with, but we should also provide a more featureful version which shows more of the features.

Ideally the improved version would match the result of an extended tutorial (to be written, or extracted from existing material from conferences or demos).

The starter and advanced tutorials on the wiki have been migrated to AQL, but Sirius will continue to ship with only the example corresponding to the starter one for now (the result of the advanced part will be available from a link on the wiki). Inclusion of both variants, which have the same name, would need some additional work and it's too late for 3.1.0 right now. It might appear in a 3.0.x maintenance release (I'm setting it to 3.1.1 to remember to look into this), or later.

Moving out of the 4.0 scope for now, along with all the other issues which were there "by default". This does not mean some of these will not be re-integrated at some point, but for now these issues are not part of the roadmap for 4.0.

This has actually been done for a while, we ship with 3 variants of the "basicfamily" modeler, corresponding to the Starter, Advanced and Compartment tutorials.
