I have just now opened bug 488667 as the "PDE part" of whatever work needs to happen due to this removal. http://git.eclipse.org/c/platform/eclipse.platform.releng.aggregator.git/commit/?id=47052f5ecdb03c094aaa7bec0bb56d09522d154d That commit fixes the "remove from build" part of the issue. Since we still want to test the delta pack in bug 488667, I have temporarily added some code to our "production tests" to create the delta pack "when needed". http://git.eclipse.org/c/platform/eclipse.platform.releng.aggregator.git/commit/?id=8394b5e303370ed8fefbcbcb766d6232c9721747 I will have to think more about how to incorporate that same concept in the PDE tests themselves, but thought this was a way to make progress. |
