We will have to migrate GEF, which already used CDO version management tool to switch to its successor provided within the Oomph namespace. We should also adopt GEF4 to use Oomph version management and update our contributor guide accordingly.

I applied all necessary changes locally and updated the GEF contributor guide already. Will push all changes to origin/master after the Mars release.

Pushed all changes to origin/master. Resolving as fixed in 3.10.1 M1.
