Description Brian de Alwis CLA 2015-04-06 14:54:45 EDT
Adding 'Minimized' or 'Maximized' tags to part stacks outside of the active perspective fails:

  1. TrimStacks are produced in the active perspective
  2. The wrong part stacks are affected
  3. The stacks in the affected perspective aren't restored when removing the tags
Comment 1 Brian de Alwis CLA 2015-04-07 11:22:43 EDT
Problem here is that the code for restoring a part stack is in TrimStack#showStack(), but the TrimStack objects are the contribution object for MToolControl and only available when the MToolControl#toBeRendered == true, and the MTC#tBR is only true if for the current perspective. We need to refactor the code to remove the assumption of minimizing and maximizing happening on the active perspective.
Comment 2 Eclipse Genie CLA 2020-07-02 13:04:17 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
