Description Nicolas Hoibian CLA 2015-03-31 08:07:51 EDT
I have multiple files open and and I want to have two of them open side by side.
In previous version of eclipse, I could drag the tab of a file to the left, right or bottom of the open editor, and the file would be visible in its own tab group, to the left, right or bellow the other tab groups.

When I drag a tab off the tab group, the frame-hover that shows how the editor view would be split blinks a lot, and sometimes disappear. But when I drop the tab, 90% of the time the editor view is not split. Sometimes the editor is split, but that is rare. I just tried 10 times and it worked once.

This happens with both GTK2 and GTK3.
