Description Mickael Istria CLA 2015-03-24 04:04:59 EDT
Typing "eclipse report bug" on Google, I get bugs.eclipse.org/bugs as 1st result. But this page doesn't have a description, saying it's because of some robots.txt.
I would expect this page to show a description under Google, such as "This is the place where to report new bug and search existing bugs at Eclipse.org"

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

I still think this issue is relevant and could be an easy and valuable fix.
Comment 3 Nobody - feel free to take it CLA 2020-01-07 17:30:35 EST
Do you still experience this? The first result I get has the same URL, but has description "Report a Bug - Bugzilla - Eclipse". That is *not* the right description (the page's title is "Bugzilla Main Page"), but that looks like a Google bug.

We won't be investing any resources into improving Bugzilla, as we encourage projects to use GitHub and Eclipse GitLab (https://gitlab.eclipse.org).
