I am currently working with the platform.text plugins and realized that they all still based on Java 1.4.

I plan to upgrade those projects.

M6 is our API freeze and changing the BREE can affect the API.

We can do this for 4.6.

And in fact, I prefer to do this myself. Most of the proposed changes are refactorings which are a lot easier to do myself rather than reviewing a large patch.


Note that I was not aware of this bug since you directly assigned it to you when you created it. Due to that the inbox maintainers/listeners were not notified.
