With eclipse luna 4.4.1 (eclipse-standard-luna-R-win32.zip)

Help->Install new software
-> Work with select "The eclipse Project Updates - http... /4.4"
- wait until list is fetched

-> Check first one "API Tools Execution Environment Descriptions"
- Shows 1 item selected
-> Click on "Show only the latest versions of available software"

BUG: Checkbox on "API Tools Execution Environment Descriptions" gets unchecked, but "1 item selected remains".

Now the shown selection and the content which gets installed are out of sync and the "API Tools Execution Environment Descriptions" gets installed when clicking Next even though it is not checked in the shown UI anymore.

Note: Same behavior is caused by other checkboxes such as "Hide items that are already displayed"

Workaround: Click "Select All" followed by a "Deselect All".

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
