I NEED HELP!! I can't seem to get Eclipse to run. I double click on the shortcut to open the application. Then, it asked me if I want to open it, I click run. When it does, it shows the start up screen for an eyes blink of time, and then disappears. The picture is below. It won't start up. I tried looking it up and no one seemed to have the answer. Please help. I am making an app for my mom and have been looking forward to it for a long time and this is very disappointing. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

Do you have Java installed? If so, what version (open a command prompt and type java -version)

I have Java 64-bit. I opened the command prompt and typed the version command, it didn't work. It gave me an error. Oh, and this Eclipse error happened a day after I installed the SDK. I tested it at 9:00 p.m. when it finished and it worked fine. Anything else that can help??

Sorry, I can not be of any further help.

Perhaps you can ask there. This here is a bug tracker and although you may have discovered a bug, answers on the forums may help determine that (or not).
