In order to make possible to contribute Bower IDE into JSDT project we need to add a dependency to JGit (which is a part of EGit project).

The patch #250548 by Vaninder Rajput works for me. I can successfully build Bower IDE plug-ins using the patched wtp-parent/pom.xml

Can it be merged into 3.7?
