In the case of a war based Orion server, there is more than likely not a system property "eclipse.buildId" defined. In this case the about servlet is displaying
BuildId: @qualifier@

I have added a fix to get the get the build id for the orion application by using the bundle group version from the org.eclipse.orion feature. The maven build assigns this feature the same timestamp as the build timestamp.

The first try did not work, made an additional fix with commit:
