Description The Unknown Coder CLA 2015-01-14 19:53:26 EST
I created my account yesterday. I was surprised to see that when I joined the forum that my entire need was used on posts. I tried to update my last name to my initial and it appears the site will not allow me to do that. I absolutely never use my full name, I don't know anyone else who does. That is a security concern and I'm not willing to let it go like that. Please either change it, allow me to, or close my account.

Please let me know.

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean by "my entire need was used" but you can change your name here:
https://dev.eclipse.org/site_login/myaccount.php

You can also visit the forums' control panel here, although the forums use your name from your account:
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=register

Your name is also used here on Bugzilla, but again, once you've updated your account, simply come back here and it should be updated.

I'll assumed the proposed solution works for you. Please reopen if not.

Ah, your NAME. It's a security concern to show your name.

I've changed your name.
