Description Gorkem Ercan CLA 2015-01-14 12:44:30 EST
JSDT project, which has a offset+2 on the release train is planning on a new functionality that requires JGit. Right now JGit is offset+3 and to make this dependency easier, I would like to request JGit to move to offset+1 or offset+2 on the release train.

As I said on the cross projects list [1] we can move to +1, I guess you want that for Mars, right ?

Correct. Mars is the target.

Wayne could you please set the offset for JGit and EGit to +1 ? Not sure where this is tracked.

Hi!

Is there any progress on this issue?
Comment 5 Matthias Sohn CLA 2015-01-27 08:53:27 EST
I will contribute the next version to Mars at offset +1 not regarding if the meta data maintained somewhere at the foundation has been updated or not ;-)

I track it in the PMI:

https://projects.eclipse.org/releases/mars

But this is just a reflection of the relationship between projects, it doesn't drive any of the processes.

I think we can then close this bug
