When using "Check Out As" on a directory in a CVS repository, the project name 
is defaulted to the directory name. Changing the directory name to something 
else (the whole point of check out as) and selecting next displays the 
workspace location page with the "Use default workspace location" already 
checked and the contents of the location edit field disabled, but displaying 
the *original* directory name, not the name as just entered on the previous 
page. Un-checking and re-checking "Use default workspace location" results in 
the correct value being shown.

Note - the correct, new project name is used for the workspace on checkout - it 
just appears that it won't be first time through.

Also, the status messages displayed in the status area as checkout is going on 
also use the old, incorrect project name.

The first point is a bug that should be fixed (i.e. the improper directory 
name in the location field). The second may be displaying the remote folder 
name. I haven't had a look at this but the message should say something 
like "Checking out folder remote-folder-name into project local-project-name". 
This should be verified when the bug is fixed.

Upgrading to minor, since this is not just cosmetics. The user needs to go the next page and then back again to workaround the problem and see the real path.

I'll mark it 3.2 but there is little chance it will be addressed given the amount of work we have in the next month or two. A patch would be most welcome.

Patch for Eclipse 3.1.2 stream

Here is a one-line patch that seems to fix the issue.  I patched the 3.1.2 stream because that is what I am currently using.  I think this also applies to the HEAD revision.
