Description Michael Valenta CLA 2003-10-22 12:09:19 EDT
I performed an update on 3000+ new resources. The progress never leaves 0% and
there are never any subtask. Oops, I am wrong. I am now getting progress and
subtasks (after several minutes). It looks like the first stage (perhaps
folder creation) is not giving good progress but the update of the files is.
The scenario I used was:

1) load org.eclipse.jdt.core.tests.model
2) Disconnect Formatter folder and delete it
3) Synchronize and the contents show up as incoming additions
4) Peform an Update in the project in the sync view.

Also, the operation takes a really long time. We should make sure it is
justified.

Now the progress is bad for the synchronize (stays on 20%) and has a long
period at the end with no progress (when sync info is being added to local
folders). Also, the update still has no progress while files are being
received but the update hapens fairly quickly.

Also, disconecting the folder is step 2 shoudl show a busy cursor at least.
