I like the idea of progress view. It allows developer to see what is happening
in the backgroud. To make that view more convenient I have the following
suggestions.

-- Add "Clear All errors" button to the view header.
-- Improve error dialog. You always have to click "details >>" button to see the
actual error
-- Move completion percentage value at the beginning of task info. This will
allow to use narrow view and still see the percentage (especially cvs operations
and build progress).

We now have a condensed progress window that should alleviate your space
concerns.

The error support has moved as well to a proper error log dialog.

I'd like to clarify the bug resolution.

There are definetely some enhancements for error dialog, but that was about it
at M7.

Not sure what do you mean by "condensed progress window". The new "floating
window" must be considered useless, it has strange resising behavior and it is
also behind of the screen corner for most of the time. I'm running Eclipse on
Windows and my Taskbar either hidden or moved to the left screen corenr, not
bottom.

So, as I suggested, move completion percentage to front of the progress task
labels in "Progress View" is very very convenient. Especially for a long running
tasks, such as rebuild or CVS operations.

So you are saying that you run with a more narrow progress view and that you
find you need the percentage at the beginning as a result?

I have changed the verbose task info in the progress view to put the % done
first.
