I'm unable to log into our Hudson HIPP instances, e.g.

  https://hudson.eclipse.org/packaging/
  https://hudson.eclipse.org/rap/

Neither committer ID, nor mail address are working; other committers were reporting the same to me. I'm always getting an error message like

  'Failed to login. Check your credentials and try again.'

A restart (of the EPP packaging HIPP) didn't help.

Other services (e.g. Gerrit) are working with the same combination of mail address and password.

Strange... After the error message, if I hit "Cancel" then refresh the page, I am logged in.

Indeed, very strange.
I can only log in if I reload the page without pressing the 'cancel' button.

Ok, I introduced a regression when I fixed something related to hipp yesterday.

I think when I fixed Bug 436264 I added a kludge which bit me in the buttox just now.  That was resolved as well.

You may need to completely log out, reload the HIPP page and login should now work reliably.

Tracking these Infra issues (and noting the resolution) in Bugzilla helps tremendously.
