Bug 448100

Summary: importing from .zip leaves behind extra "__MACOSX" directory
Product: [ECD] Orion Reporter: Grant Gayed <grant_gayed>
Component: ClientAssignee: Project Inbox <orion.client-inbox>
Status: RESOLVED WONTFIX QA Contact:
Severity: normal
Priority: P3 CC: ahunter.eclipse
Version: 7.0
Target Milestone: ---
Hardware: PC
OS: Mac OS X
Whiteboard:

Description Grant Gayed CLA 2014-10-21 11:31:23 EDT
- observed in at least Chrome and Safari
- no extra directory is left behind on windows

- select a project in the Navigator, Import > File or Zip Archive
- choose any .zip on your local machine to import, OK
- answer OK to the resulting "Unzip ...?" prompter
- the .zip is imported and unzipped, but a "__MACOSX" directory is also created and left behind at the project root (I'm guessing this is a work directory that was never deleted)

- side note, unrelated to this bug: While importing, a garbage can is shown as the "Cancel" icon. This seems inconsistent, I think something like an 'X' image is more typically used for cancelling.

The "__MACOSX" entry is introduced into the zip file on the Mac OS X side.
