Description Rich Schwerdtfeger CLA 2014-09-30 16:28:44 EDT
The U.S. Government is releasing a new version of section U.S. 508 (called the U.S 508 Refresh) accessibility procurement requirements criteria. For Eclipse it means that the accessibility interoperability criteria are properly implemented at the accessibility API level. Eclipse has not been formally tested for this although much of the support is now in there with the accessibility api extensions put in place a couple years ago.

Rich, do you have more details about the work still needing to be done, or bugs that need to be addressed? This will be necessary information for sizing the effort.

Hello Rich,

Do you have links to the requirements criteria?

I.e, what accessibility functions should the SWT api provide? If we know the list then we can keep it in mind when updating the widgets.

Moving to 4.5.1 as both the dependent bugs are targeted 4.5.1.

Resolving this as both the dependent bugs have been resolved as fixed.
